Quick Start Steps
- CONNECT — Plug in power and Ethernet, then log in using the credentials in your welcome envelope
- API KEY — The setup wizard opens automatically. Choose your AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), paste your API key, and accept the Terms of Service
- NAME — Pick a name for your assistant (or choose from suggestions like JARVIS, Alfred, or Athena)
- MESSAGING — Connect a messaging app (Telegram, Slack, or Discord) so you can chat from your phone — or skip this and use the built-in web console
- CHAT — You're all set! Start your first conversation

Once you're set up, check out the ProductiveBot Skill Store to add new capabilities to your assistant. Skills are free add-ons that extend what your assistant can do.

Before You Install Skills
You need to activate the Skill Store on your ProductiveBot before you can install any skills. This is a quick one-time setup that registers the Skill Store as a trusted source on your system. Double-click "ProductiveBot Skill Store" on your Desktop, then click "Activate Skill Store" at the top of the page. It takes about 5 seconds. After that, every skill will install seamlessly.
